That in order to return your large screen TV in for warranty repair at an authorized repair center, that you are required to ship it in the original carton and at your expense. It can cost as much as $90 to ship by FedEx, and that’s if you kept the box to ship it in.
Most flat panel TV warranties are only good for 1 year, unless you purchased an expensive extended warranty from the store. Some “off-name” brands such as Vizio and Polaroid don’t even offer parts for repair after the warranty is up, questioning how the retailer can sell an extended warranty.
Your large screen TV warranty doesn’t include de-installation or re-installation of your unit, when sending it in for repair. We can pick-up and re-install your TV for an additional fee.
We charge a flat repair rate plus parts, so you know what you’re going to pay when you bring it in for repair. In most cases, our labor rate is less than it costs to ship your TV to the manufacturer.
